Can't Grab Food Bag from STEPHANIE

I keep getting to the part where Stephanie goes up to the paint room for the 2nd time, but when I approach her, she's not triggered to speak dialogue like she's supposed to NOR does the option come up to take the food bag from her.
What usually happens is after the 1st time Stephanie goes upstairs and I reassure her, she'll return downstairs to Katherine in the bathroom. Then she'll tell me to go find Gut Grip and a cup of water. I'll go straight to get the Gut Grip from the Master Bathroom upstairs, then return to the downstairs bathroom, ask where Steph is, the go find her upstairs. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or what's causing this stupid glitch!

Did you actually get the water? And if so, specifically how and when did you do this? What *IS* Stephanie doing when you approach her in the art room?

YES. I tried playing the game on another friend’s PC ~ I’ll leave Stephanie with Katherine while I go grab the water in mug, then the Gut Grip from the Master Bathroom. Then I’ll go to Stephanie in the art room and she is just standing there. No food bag visible. I don’t understand what I missed or maybe there was someone I was supposed to talk to?? Ugh. Very frustrating..

I keep restarting to my last save point, which is right after Kat goes into the downstairs bathroom from outside;right before you let Stephanie know that she needs help. Then I’ll go through that whole convo with them and Amy until Steph goes upstairs to the art room the 1st time. I keep replaying this part, until like I said in my post, I try to approach Steph in the art room the 2nd time and she does nothing. Plz help!

YES! It worked when I used the Empty Vodka Bottle not the Water in Mug. All the dialogue started and we just transitioned to the next scene with Katherine thanking us.
Speaking of thanking, thanks so so much for helping me with this!

I can't grab the empty bottle of vodka; even though it's EMPTY Frank still wants to fight. And I keep on losing. Also get the "you can't do that!" when trying to use the EMPTY vodka bottle with the 'Gut Grip'

You need to inspect the bottle and then ask Frank if you can take it.

I am having this same problem, when she came back i am unable to take it from her etc. She just wants me to leave her alone nothing i can do. She is standing in place with the puffed up bag and everything but i am unable to do nothing. Hope this helps!

Do you have a save file that can be loaded through which this can be quickly encountered?
