Using laxatives twice?

I followed the walkthrough writen by Volcanon. In it, he suggests to use the laxatives with Katherines rum, and later with Ashleys soda.

But using the laxatives with the rum, there is no leftover laxatives for the soda.

Is it a mistake in the walkthrough, or am I doing it wrong? Is it possible to use the laxatives twice?

Ah okay, so using the laxatives twice was a bug in version 0.11 ?

So the deal is: Either I get Katherine sick an d get sex with Stephanie OR
I get Ashley sick and get bj's from Madeleine?

Yes using the laxative twice was a (favorable) bug prior to 0.12.3. Choices indeed!

I know this is a longshot to the developer is there still a way to use the laxative twice if not to make it even better you should have a second bottle some more placed around the game
