a long time ago, i saw pewdiepie play this game. curiosity got the best of me and i downloaded the game from its official forum. i played that version to completion and then some, because sometimes i can be a bit of a completionist.

tl;dr at bottom.

i played it for maybe 2 hours, 30 minutes of which i spent dealing with the clunky controls, ui, and issues. sometimes i saved the game without realizing there was a mass of garbage people on the stairs thanks to jerkoff frank or wimpy fuccboy patrick planting themselves at the bottom or top of them. going up or down is made impossible thanks to this, but that isn't even the worst part. sometimes i could only fix the orgy on the stairs by restarting the entire game. then it would happen again and again. the stairs are a death trap.

i spent way too long trying to figure out how to get booze past frank and there was a lot of trial and error that i had to go through. once you get straight edge frankyboi p!ssed off there is no going back. you are permanently and relentlessly hunted by this @sshole until he kills you. the only way i managed to avoid him was by abusing the stairs; he blocked the stairs and a mass of trash gathered on the stairs, preventing him from reaching me. but in the end, it didn't matter. the game was f!cked and i had to reload/restart.

relating to the frank issue, if you mess up with any dialogue, your affection with people goes down and there is no way to mend it unless you have a quest with them. flawless game design.

none of the objective items are obviously pick-upable: things i thought were part of the environment were actually quest items. an example would be the stupid f!cking pencil you need to scribble on a notebook to get a code for the safe. among the one pencil you can actually pick up are 23409572309 pencils that you can't. once again, great game design.

the quests are agonizingly boring, and since my game got f!cked so many times, i had to go through them several times. none of them are intuitive and are garbage-tier in that they have absolutely no effort put into them. they are there solely to make it harder to get to what everyone plays this game for. go fetch this, go do this menial task, congrats now you get a reward. thanks, i guess.

elaborating on the rewards, they suck mad dong. i only got blowies from a couple girls, but every single scene is the same. boring, ugly, dry, weak, lazy, and ultimately not worth the effort of going through the god awful quests. the sound effects are trash too.

the ai is actually insufferable in general. nevermind the staircase catastrophe, the ai have no sense of privacy:

getting a blowie? that's cool, just gonna walk in the room, gasp, and laugh. you closed the door? BIHH YOU THOUGHT... opened it again and now i'm gonna gasp and laugh again because this is what i am programmed to do.

oh, your dinky dongo is out? THAT'S COOL, just gonna gasp and laugh or maybe sound disgusted or amazed and force you into a dialogue.

it is RIDICULOUS that you cannot lock doors or tell the other ~party guests~ to shove it.

and out of F!CKING curiosity, why is everyone at the party bitter, AnGeRy, ♥♥♥♥♥y, and overall terrible?? real people don't react like they do, especially not at a *party*. they aren't even unrealistic in a funny way. it's just obnoxious. and i don't care how big your mondo gazungas are, who the hell would want to have (not even mediocre) funtime with a negative nancy in the first place? negativity spreads like stephanie's legs.

do i even need to dive into the problem that is patrick? the guy isn't even a betamale, he's just spineless and i have suspicions he's just straight up gay. patrick and frank have some weird chemistry and i just get some vibes from them. also patrick comments on your bepis and seems enthralled by it. you'd think there would be a path to woo him.

i'm going to wrap this up, so i'll just make quick mentions.
- lighting is abysmal. weird shadows, no model shadows, everything is dark as f!ck.

- clothes and character models clip through a bunch of stuff they shouldn't. an example of this is the protag's boxers showing through his jeans and legs of the characters going into the couches.

- unnatural body movements/horrific animations. stephanie's dancing is the epitome of "white people", the lip movements are horrible/terrifying (see: patrick), every character is twitchy, their legs bend unnaturally when walking and especially when going up stairs, they all have the same physical attitude.

- the overall look of the character models are atrocious. the hair is flat and horribly crafted, their skin has 0 detail and they're all the same skin tone, every single character has the same dead, lifeless eyes, there are no highlights and they look like ♥♥♥♥♥♥ copy-paste freeware. patrick is especially awful; his face gets stuck in an awful, awful psychotic expression, smiling.

- nothing about the environment says "party". this is like a party for depressed and cynical individuals, and stephanie the homewrecker just showed up. there is no synergy between the characters, none of them even act like they know each other. i don't even think madison and ashley are sisters; they're both delusional and/or drunk.

- the voice acting is forgivable, but the music is not. add variety or remove music from the game entirely.

- ai pathing is ludicrous.

- adult interactions are underwhelming and unsatisfying ~~at best~~.

- characters are unlikable and annoying. they're so childish. nothing about them is endearing.

- it looks like a toddler designed the ui for a barbie game, but the dev took it and applied it to his garbage f!ck game instead.

- controls are clunky. dev has clearly never played a video game before.

i don't know whose dink you had to worship to get this steaming pile of dirty diapers on steam, but it needs to be removed. i'm exhausted by how many "games" are being added to steam lately. greenlight was a literal mistake. letting wannabe game developers shove their trashy garbage projects on steam was a literal mistake.

tl;dr:
the game is trash from start to finish with ugly everything. nothing is good about it. there is no love put into any aspect of the game whatsoever and this feels like a dirty cash grab. the game hasn't changed at all from the alpha i played in may. everything is bad. you would have more fun buying and eating a turd than spending 15 dollars on this game. also, there is a hearthstone app on the phone in game, which i don't think is allowed.

this is very harsh, sorry not sorry. i'm tired of devs thinking their first baby steps into game developement are good enough to be on steam. it clogs up the actual quality games.

i know i am not the target audience. women are not on my sexual or romantic radar at all, but i feel like that actually helps me look at this objectively.

by the way, i am 100% positive the only reason this has positive reviews is because there is a community specifically for this game that, for whatever reason, adore it. i'm sure they all swarmed to purchase and positively review this game to make it seem like an acceptable and desireable product.

lastly, i doubt this thread will last long on this forum. devs these days like to delete anything harsh when it comes to their video games, whether it is constructive or not. i'm just being honest. insanely, rudely, and brutally honest.

Plus your character dies for aids in the end. Should have used a condom

it's almost as if his channel has evolved from when he would scream at horror games. it's amazing how people change and mature over time.

Well there's your problem, you gotta take the speaker and toss it over the fence on each playthrough! :P

It's good you didn't just leave a TLDR, thank you. There's some fair criticism here, harsh or otherwise. Without getting into it too much, we hope to add much more content to the game, free up dev time to polish things like shadows, clipping, and how bad Frank really is at preventing everyone from drinking (or at least that's how I justify a few pathing quirks...).

You had an interest in an indy game and took a chance...and this is business. You and everyone we can reach ARE our target audience. Cheers.

i tend to not sugar coat anything when i feel passionately about something. i have a lot of gripes.

i really do not think you need to do anything regarding frank unless it has to do with him not persuing the player after a certain condition is met. i can't express how annoying it is to be killed by this major !sshole prohibiting a bunch of adults from drinking at a party.

you should add a vision cone to him, so if you are out of his sight, he won't murder you for taking booze... when he clearly cannot see it.

when i said i wasn't your target audience, i meant that i am gay and don't find the sex in this arousing or w/e, but i know some straight guys will. sure, everyone is your target audience, but straight guys (and to an extent, lesbians/bisexuals) /have/ to be your core audience, no?

also, i learned earlier today that the guide isn't even included unless you're a patreon? i hope you know how scummy that is. you essentially want people to pay $25 for a $5 game.

I understood what you meant about women not being on your radar. Our lead dev started this with a goal of paying homage to games like Leisure Suit Larry, so yeah we have an initial plot bias towards that kind of straight-male sexuality. Now that a foundation has been created that reflects the initial goal (and allows for scaling and modification of content), and generates momentum and interest enough for feedback, we can actually start paying homage to our current fans and take this beyond one person's dream. It will just take a little time, assuming our custom story creators don't beat us to it! Personally my top three plot line additions are 1) heavily physics-based quest, 2) non-male, non-straight quest, 3) a quest where we win over our interest through mushy, mushy sweetness.

Are you playing the most recent version? The only booze I've had a consistent problem with is what he stores on his table...although I know what you mean about his seemingly supernatural ability to track certain things. This may loosen up once plot lines are less tied to availability of certain items or decision trees.

Well, I'm not sure how many games even offer guides. I can sympathize with your point to a degree. As a long time gamer, I always encourage others to "speak with your wallet".

Edit: a word.
