Characters blocked in laundry

Hi everybody !

I have a bug during the end of Madison's art quest. When she's painting me, I noticed that Rachael is in the laundry et tries to walk trough the dryer. Then, Madison goes out of the art room. But instead of going to the master room, she goes to the laudry room et does the same thing as Rachael. Bug of pathfinding ?

It could be, but I've never seen this myself. We did add a new movetarget in there and our navigation isn't perfect yet. How did you see Rachael walking through the dryer if you were in the art room being painted (that scene locks the player in place until you complete or fail it)? When you finished "Like a French Girl" (the opportunity name for the painting scene), did you finish it by succeeding or failing?

If you can reproduce this, or see it again, can you grab a debug log for me? While playing, press F5, then hit the little button in the bottom corner to save a log (the log will display the save location).

Thank you for your answer. I finished the quest by succeeding and Madison invited me to follow her to the master bedroom. I saved the game just when she quitted the art room.

Then I loaded and she wasn't in the master bedroom. So I search her and I found her in the laundry trying to walk with Rachael to the dryer. Unfortunately I erased the save... I tried again and it seems working this time.

Hmm ok. We've gotten a few reports of issues saving roughly around that time. Will have to look into it. Thank you!

Just to echo this bug, my Madison is also stuck in the laundry room for some reason (at the end of the painting quest).

Alright thanks for confirming. I will have to play around with it a bit. Was this also after saving and loading? Or did you finish "Like A French Girl" (painting Opportunity) and she just walked right to the laundry?

If I remember correctly, it was right after I succeeded the "Like a French Girl" Opportunity. I've tried saving and loading my game and that doesn't seem to help.

So my guess is she walked straight there.

Yeah, I also have the problem of Madison walking into the dryer after I pass the "like a french girl" opportunity. She, and Derek outside on the roof seem to be walking into each other for some reason. Not literally, Madison is walking into the dryer, while Derek is trying to walk into the side of the house near the art room window.
Also, I noticed that after you pass the "like a french girl" opportunity and Madison walks out of the art room, Ashley was in the master bedroom laying on the right side of the bed. Could this be the cause of the bug?

Those are separate things. Did Ashley not leave the room eventually? She may be there as Madison leaves, and as she arrives, but should be out the door by the time the player is asked to close it.

If you see this again, open up the console (~ or ` on US keyboards, ö or ò if not) and type: whereis madison

Then hit Enter. Would be nice to know where she is trying to get to.

I replayed the story again and didn't have the same problem the 2nd playthrough. I believe Amy was in the master bedroom and started leaving once me and Madison were in the master bedroom.
I'll check into what you requested later.
