Game keeps crashing

Just started playing the newly updated version and, so far, it always crashes within 10 minutes of starting. It doesn't seem to matter what I'm doing in the game before it freezes and crashes. Anyone else hitting a similar issue? My setup:

Windows 10 Pro, 21H1, Build 19043.1706 w/ Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4170.0

Intel Core i9-7900X @ 3.3 GHz
2x GSkill 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (Driver Version 516.59)
Asus PRIME X299 Deluxe

yea i keep on crashing as well AND it crashed my firefox as well at the same time for some reason no matter what im doing. No error message tho. I get as far as clicking confirm on the sex and it tried to load and thats where it crashes. Iv lowered quality and fiddled with some settings but no dice.

i turned off 4k settings and it seems to get further now. If we dont hear from me again it worked.
