I see what's going on. For now, just finish up the Game Grumps "BWWAOOOO" scenario that is going on with Arin near the painting. Go up to Arin, talk to him so that he and Dan both say something, then punch Arin in the face. THEN do the Ashley closet/Snake/Unlatch Terrarium content.
The issue is that the value that prevents a lot of "interrupting" or "distracting" random or semi-randomized events (like being walked up to and bothered by an NPC) is persisting throughout the entirety of some Game Grumps content, when it should only be flagged temporarily.
