Need more info than that. Starting with your PC's specs.

are you able to get into the main menu at least? try running as administrator?

I think I also have the same problem.

1st try. After the update is done, I tried the game and I managed to get into it, walking around for like 2 mins. Then the game suddenly went off, together with the whole PC. The weird thing is, at the time, my CPU was still on (fan still blowing, light still on) but we cant do anything. It was glitching or froze, I think and I had to hard reset my PC.

2nd try, I got a bit of problem to get into the game. It was not responding and I was force to close the game by the computer.

3rd try, the same as the first try. It happened again and I ended up had to do the hard reset again.

Any idea why it could happen?

I still need your PCs specs to start getting into details.

Log files would also be helpful; they can be found using the instructions in the link below. A copy of the output_log.txt, error.log files (if they exist), and a DXDiag.exe info file would be perfect. Since this might not be specifically related to House Party, information from the Windows Error/Event Viewer would be helpful as well.

Moving to Bug Reports.

I found solution for me i must deactivate my antivirus before launch the game ^^

Huh...that is a very odd symptom. What anti-virus were you using, if you don't mind me asking? Does it use some sort of fullscreen overlay? Usually if a program is going to stop House Party from running it just...well, does exactly that.

@Erasmus

I already found the file. Where should I post the entire log? Can I put it here? It's going to be a long post though...

Ah ok, that makes some sense. Thanks for the clarification.

You can use pastebin.com or an equivalent, or e-mail them to me at erasmus@eekllc.com .

Are you running any anti-virus programs like the OP? Or anything at all that uses an overlay (rendering pop-ups or other graphics on top of foreground applications/games)? I looked at your log and I see some evidence of errors we fixed in our small redeploy a day or so after release. Is the issue persisting?

I havent tried it yet honestly. I did see some new update installing though. I'll give it a try once I have the chance. I'll let you know in this post.

Thanks for looking into it Erasmus. Much appreciated!

No problem!
EvilZeus Jul 23, 2019 @ 9:39am
Hi Erasmus. I'm back again.

Unfortunately, the problem persist. After playing for about 3 mins into the game (original scenario), my game crashes along with my PC as well (the phase where my CPU's lighting was still on, but my computer is dead).

My antivirus is the SMADAV 2019...

I don't know much about that anti-virus program. Is it possible to disable pop-ups or notifications from it, or any part of it that appears on the screen WITHOUT disabling the protection?

Also, is your GPU factory overclocked? Did your GPU come with any GPU tuning tools?
