Can you be more specific? Like, muffled/quiet, garbled, off-pitch?

Edit: moving to Bug Reports.

It's more garbled I think it might have to do with the fps drops but strangely after saving the game it goes back to normal then starts again

It's definitely a problem dealing with the fps

Alright, I can't reproduce it but we're taking steps to reduce the FPS issues some players are having, so hopefully by our next release in mid- December this will be fixed for you.

If you lower your graphics setting when starting the game and choose a very low resolution, does the sound issue improve along with your FPS?

Lowering the settings didn't help

Alright, when this happens do you by chance know what your FPS is?

Just fixed it turned out to be a Nvidia driver problem messing with the sound once that was fixed the fps drops stopped also. Idk what caused the problem all of sudden though it was working fine on the same driver a few days ago

Well the issue started again I'm not sure what it could be now I think I'll wait until the update and see what that does

Hm alright...yeah please keep us updated. Were you pushing sound out to another device via the NVIDIA HD Audio/HDMI system?
erasmus Dec 1, 2017 @ 1:14pm
Also, what driver version were you using prior to updating/fixing it, and what are you using now?
kaystarz0202 Dec 1, 2017 @ 4:54pm
Im using HDMI to connect to my tv. I'm not sure what driver version I was on I think it was 388.31 as of now I am on 388.43

Alright thanks...I am not having issues on either of my systems when running in Steam using the 388.31 driver but I have had a few hiccups in the Unity editor. We will see how the update plays out and keep an eye on the issue.

For the time being in this section (Bug Reports) I do have a pinned post which talks about various ways of improving upon FPS or stutter or mouse look issues. Take a look at that and see if any of those additional steps help. It is very odd a driver update briefly fixed your issue and then said issue returned, AND no errors are being generated.

Finally fixed the problem for good the problem was in bios somehow my onboard sound had kicked itself on and was interfering with the audio from my 970
