Stuttering after update

The game ran smoothly before the update but now I am getting stuttering when I move around. Is this happening to anyone else?

yeah. intro froze for a bit and occasionally now it jumps

seems not worse than it was prior to the update (i always got occasional stutters when turning around fast ) but yeah it's something they should have tired to work out before leaving EA. my question is , does it still stutter if you turn down settings?

Whats weird is that it was perfect for me before the update, never had frame drops. Even when I played around with the female character earlier on the test server, it ran fine.

Now, its barely playable, its very laggy when moving. If I set the graphics to low then it stops stuttering but the game looks like crap. I am running this on a beefy gaming rig so it should have no problem running this game. I think something was not optimized in the update because the performance drop after the update is very noticeable.

Yes. I actually completely uninstalled and then downloaded again. No luck

Don't know if it makes a difference but are you still opted into the betas? Property setting in library.

I opted out of the betas when the update came out, so I am playing the regular vanilla game.

Okay I managed to figure out a solution, the problem was on my end and the stuttering is fixed.

I have dual displays and instead of only displaying the second monitor, it was displaying on both screens which was causing problems with the resolution and making my graphics card work overtime.

Setting it to only display on the second monitor fixed it.

This is probably specific to my setup so it might not help you but hopefully it does.

Oh, hm. I do have dual setup but I'm not having that issue, only stutters. Thanks anyway though!

My issue was stuttering also. Basically just making sure the game was rendering on only one monitor removed the stuttering.

I have occasional stuttering as well. Single monitor. It ran perfectly for me as well before the recent full release. It's tolerable, but it's definitely noticeable. As in a half second of lag every 10 or 15 minutes. Not sure what, if anything, is triggering it.
