Temps themselves aren't really something we have control of, and aren't a good gauge of optimization. An increase in temp is a result of hardware being put under load. So...what is your utilization, wattage draw, etc. etc. while HP is running compared to other games, and which games are we comparing to? What kind of framerate are you getting in HP, and at what settings and resolution? Are you overclocking or do you have any custom settings configured in the NVIDIA Control Panel? Finally, what version of the game are you currently playing?
Playing the latest version of the game, I have nothing overclocked hardware wise either. My Utilisation is around 70% on the CPU and a little less than 20 on the GPU frame rates are all over the place from 40 up to 144 which is my monitors max refresh rate and HP is running at max settings at 3440X1440P, with not custom Nvidia configurations in the control panel.
I was comparing this to games like Control, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and Assassins Creed Odyssey all running at max settings, they seem to be utilisation the hardware better and temps are getting no more than high 50's on either CPU or GPU.
Note that this will lock your frame rate at 60FPS, but the engine natively runs at 60FPS anyway, even if you force it to render more quickly. My utilization, temps, and frame rate are very solid with in-game VSYNC off: https://imgur.com/tGKzRlE
