Is it possible to take alcohol from the cabinet without getting caught in the process?

I'm trying to time it so that either
A) people are walking out of the house and Leah is in the backyard trying to make her way into the house to take Frank's place guarding it so that they block her way and then I'll loop around the hallway back around to the cabinet but Frank is on me like flys on stink and I get caught every time.

or

B) Have Leah upstairs blocked by others in the back bedroom, go down and tell Frank someone has alcohol, rush it back up and keep closing the door so that Leah can't exit the room, wait until Frank gets upstairs and then book it down and nab an alcohol at that point without Frank seeing me do so. (Haven't done this scenario yet.)

Just not sure if I even manage to pull this off if the game is designed whether Frank sees me or not, that I will be caught red-handed even though it shouldn't be the case?

There's only one way that I know that you can get all of the booze but you need to get Vicki to the party.

I found 4 beer and one mostly empty wine bottle but most of the guest requests are for a particular alcohol type located inside of the hutch that Frank is guarding.

I'm just trying to go about acquiring the alcohol outside the realm of what the game is expecting us to acquire it is all and was wondering could I actually pull it off or will Frank or Leah act as if they've seen me swipe even if they don't actually see me when I do so because it is programmed that way?

hey dude sounds like your not stayng away from the alcohol

yes its possible to grab all the booze and not get caught, grab the master keys then tell frank someone has alcohol then go into madisons bathroom and wait for frank to show up then lock him inside you can then either wait for leah to go outside or just push her into the downstairs bathroom and lock her up as well

I didn't think you could lock up any of them inside of the rooms because that's where the lock is usually at that you can use to unlock the door to begin with irl. I just thought it was so they couldn't get INTO the rooms, not out of them as well. Too funny. Didn't even think about trying that to begin with. Thanks for the suggestion.

I figured out another way to acquire it as well if you don't mind going that route. If you tell Frank you like him, he'll eventually walk outside to pleasure you. I'm assuming Leah will come and guard the alcohol at that point so I pushed her into the downstairs bathroom and locked her in and then told Frank that I liked him and while he waited for me outside, I ransacked the liquor cabinet at that point. You can empty out the entire thing before he will eventually make his way back into the house.

You must have done this on older versions of the game because on the current version, Frank will eventually come up to you after the fact and tell you he has a gut feeling that you were the one who swiped alcohol from the cabinet and will get into a fight with you on account of that, aka the game was patched by the Dev to not allow for this.

Good job Dev patching up those holes.

Didn't keep my earlier game/save where he gives the MC a hummer and stealing it all while he was outside waiting for me but have to imagine it will be the same thing?

Does it play out this same way with all scenarios now where one may try and swipe all the alcohol in the cabinet or what?

frank cant kick your ass if he's locked in the bathroom, perfect strategy for scenarios that dont involve frank or leah

No, I wasn't going to go that route. Granted that is an alternative way of achieving what I asked for here. As much as it's just a game and we know it's not reality, I couldn't see this panning out irl. Maybe for a short while but someone would eventually let them out. Trying to play the game with somewhat realism behind it.

While I was doing Stephanie's scenario though, where she can help out Katherine if you mess with the rum that Kat wants, if you lock the door prior to Kat making her way into the downstairs bathroom, Frank can knock himself out forcing the door open using his noggin and you can ransack the liquor cabinet at that point and he doesn't seem to come after you once he eventually comes back to his senses.

The Katherine/Stephanie path is (I think) the safest and funniest way to get all the booze. You can even loot back any alcohol from Frank while he's knocked out on the floor, slap him awake, then outright ask him to take the rest of the alcohol. His answer may surprise you...
