customized characters are still default in game

So I customized a character on menue screen, clicked "Finished", now they are customized on main screen. How do I make them appear customized in game?

Are you loading a saved game? Your selected customization applies to a new game. In a saved, game, the state of the characters' dress is also saved with the rest of the data.

as the dev replied - customization, at least clothes, applies only on new game. Character customization however seems to apply to existing saves. Britney in my existing playthrough showed with new custom eye lences, but still in her old clothes.

Make sure that your "Character Design" is selected in your "Group Preset". You may have to edit your Group Preset and select the Character Design you want in game and then Save that Group Preset.
