Photos on camera not saving

I managed to get topless pics of Katherine with the camera, and I can view them straight after. However, after I save the game and exit, and then come back to the save and the photos are all gone from the camera. It appears the game does not save the photos after reloading the newly saved file after I had taken photos of Katherine. Is there a way to make it work so the game saves the pictures?

PS: I'm on the Steam Deck and haven't tested on pc so don't know if this is unique to the Deck

I remember having this issue the last time I played. I believe there was an issue with the game saving the image files in a separate folder with (Male) or (Female) appended at the end and the game does not check there for referencing them in the game. You should be able to solve this by manually copying those image files into:

Documents>Eek>House Party>Photos and the camera will be able to retrieve them. You can even put whatever image file you want in there and see it in game. I brought this issue up at that time and it was responded to by a developer, but it seems it hasn't been addressed yet.

Edit: I play on PC, so I'm not sure how Steam Deck deals with file management. But the process should be similar if you have access to the games files.
