Why is there not scene 18+ with doja cat? A lot of players have been waiting for this for this kind of money, so I'm interested.

The "scam" here is the devs' lack of transparency on the type of content that it will include on top of implying as if there will be sex.

While i agree the devs should have been more transparent about the content in the dlc i think the hate is a bit overblown, the dlc is optional you don't have to buy it, and i don't know what people were expecting with this dlc as far as i know you can't have sex with the game grumps and just like them doja cat is a real person who can choose how her likeness is used within the game and she might feel that content wouldn't good for her image.

First of all, it's a fictional character which is her depiction so, I don't understand what's the big deal with it, it's not like she's actually selling her own body, they're pixels.

It does exist. You have to complete the content with a perfect relationship between you and Doja Cat to see it. It's in the game data as "DojaFinale".

We've been clear that there would be a limit on what could be done with Doja Cat on multiple occasions, such as here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/611790/eventcomments/3379410661808414520/?ctp=5#c3485245887239874854 and in our Discord. We encouraged people to spread that news, and it seemed to be pretty well understood directly prior to this release, as that info popped up in a number of places from many different users, without our involvement.

The DLC has a note at the top about the nature of the intimate content it contains: Note: There is an intimacy scene with Doja Cat in this Expansion Pack, if you hit it off with her. It is a Mature rated scene. The Explicit Content Add-On does not add any Adult Only rated content to this DLC.

In terms of "the hate": most feedback on Discord has been positive. No other platform, speaking in terms of proportion rather than volume, of course, has the level of vitriol present here. The main Doja Cat announcement post, despite the "hate", is over 75% upvoted. The easiest act of online "hate" is a downvote, and the vast majority don't think it's worth one. The DLC has less than a 6% refund rate, despite being "a scam". We'll be trusting the data.

Out of countless thousands, there are perhaps a few hundred upset people here. In regards to that, we'll see what we can do about fine tuning announcement copy, disclaimers, etc. in the future, and maybe repeating ourselves even more often. But there was no dishonesty on our part. No deceit. No scamming. You will not convince us there was.

Your "answer" was on the month of the DLC's launch on the fifth page of the event announcement discussion which most people wouldn't really care about looking through other than the ones who've participated in the discussion. I don't see why you couldn't just post it as an actual announcement instead of hoping for people to "spread it to others".

Even if we were to ignore that:

That's a pretty vague statement, the limitations could mean anything. If you truly wanted to clear the confusion and not mislead people into expecting things then you could've simply stated that you're not able to interact with DC's character in any sexual way to begin with.

The scene isn't even anywhere close to "mature rated" and the content is nowhere enough to call it an "expansion pack". Also, the "Explicit content add-on" never added anything, it simply uncensored the already existing things in the game.

Ah, I wonder why a discord server which you have complete control over is mostly positive and I also wonder why people have the most engagement on Steam, the biggest gaming marketplace compared to any other. Should be pretty obvious why.

Maybe because most people either don't care enough to refund even if it's ♥♥♥♥ or is no longer eligible for refund due to Steam's refund policy. I myself when I was trying to refund CP2077 was being denied by the automated system three times until I got lucky an actual human received my ticket the 4th time and gave me my refund.

The "data" doesn't really show you anything when there are many factors involved. The "announcement having positive upvotes" doesn't matter when the review score of the DLC after its released turns out to be overwhelmingly negative. There are youtube videos that are literal scams and still have positive likes so your argument doesn't really hold much value.

There absolutely was dishonest on your part when you've been silent about this since ages and vague a month of the DLC's launch on top of implying "mature rated sex scenes" when you couldn't even hit that level, The Witcher 3 has better sex scenes and even that was pretty tame and when comparing it to a sexually explicit game, there's nothing you can say to justify it.

Your view on what you consider a "porn game" is completely irrelevant to the fact that most people buy these games for the sexual content. Therefore, they expect more sexual content.
A game revolving around sex is objectively a porn game and you can't deny that fact just because it also has a"story" aspect to it otherwise please take the "sex" out of the game and you'll see it for yourself.
I've seen hentai with bigger plots than these kinds of game, just because it may have a decent amount of story doesn't negate the fact that it is still porn.

If you wanted to create a "balance" between the SFW and NSFW content then you clearly failed to do so with the DLC and no amount of future DLCs with sexually explicit content is going to save this DLC from being rightfully reviewed negatively and criticized in forums.

You just perfectly summed up why nobody's taking you seriously. If somebody disagrees with you, they are "not contributing to the conversation". And even when you get answers to all of your complaints, you just find more problems. You're never going to be happy, so my guess is people are going to start blocking you until you have nobody left to argue with. So good suggestion!
