Lety censorship

Lety always seems to have the censorship on no matter your setting after this patch. Is this a glitch or did Lety (uh, the real life one) not want her digital self to be nude any more?

Now I get it, so you mean the problem is precisely related to Lety because she has a rendering of a real person? Well, if so, just look for a character in DAZ3D and replace it with Lety and the problem will be solved.

Except replacing a character you have created in collaboration with a person you wanted to work with, with a random 3D model is not a solution to bring back the game you wanted to create.

Maybe it works for the people annoyed just by not having full nudity in the character, but replacing a character with a different one is an even greater censorship and damage to the game.

So I would definitely and strongly oppose anything resembling that.

In addition, you are forgetting that this does not affect only the character of Lety, but also the new announced character. You would have a steam version with two different characters than any other game version. That would be completely unacceptable for anyone with any artistic integrity.

Again I have the utmost faith in our community. I wouldn't be surprised if they came up with a uniquely mindblowing solution in, eh let's say...30-50 days from now.

Maybe someone could point us in the right direction at which file it's located in, and uh I'll see what I can do. My guess would be the Explicit Content folder and possibly the uncensoredtextures file. Wink twice if I'm right.

Meh, it's going to take more than a noob with Unity like me. Just went through it with AssetStudio and can't find ♥♥♥♥ that would make any sense.

I mean someone on the team could anonymously upload it to nexusmods or on the f95 thread. No one would be the wiser. ;)

Already fixed it. Posted above. It was in the sharedassets1.assets file. Lety is uncensored now. ;)

If real people have to be censored now according to steam guidelines, even if that person did consent to the content, does that mean there are going to be issues with the upcoming DLC since she is a real person? Because if it is a paid DLC I have a good feeling a lot of people will refuse to buy it if the character is censored. And on a side note the whole community knows it is Doja Cat so no need to act like it is a mystery anymore.

Yes it means that, the new DLC will also be censored in steam.

And it means steam is so confused about his sex guidelines that they dont have any problem with fictional animated rape, or with fictional nudity performed by consenting actors in movies, but they DO have a problem with fictional animated nudity from fictional adults looking like consenting adult actors.

Just a guess here but I think Steam might start cracking down on lewd games in general. Just a gut feeling, but who knows. The way it stands right now is just idiotic.
