Greetings.

I have after a long while reinstalled the Houseparty on my new PC and - oh gosh, the cesurship was back.

No problem, I thought. You make the folder and the TXT and everything is fine.

But... it doesn't do anything. Cesurship is allready be their. I have watched, that Antivir-Programm doesn't care about this folder, so this is probably not the answer.

Any idea, how I can erase this... black-white-abdomination ?

Have you made sure censorship isn't checked in the options in-game? I had this issue the last time I reinstalled.

When you pause the game (by pressing ESC), there should be a check box that says "Censor Nudity". Make sure it is unchecked.

Do you by chance live in Germany? I'm just guessing by the (GER) in your username. If so, I can't really help you from there. I hear there are restrictions in this country that make playing the game problematic. Maybe that could be why you're not seeing the option anymore.

If not, run the game. Start a new game or continue from a previous save. Pause the game (by pressing ESC). The "Censor Nudity" option should be the first check box (below the "instructions" button and above the "music" levels). This check box should be unchecked.

The fact that I live in Germany is correct, but the restriction has so far only been that Steam no longer displays certain titles for purchase - not retroactively curtailing existing purchases.

Any idea how to correct this ? O.o

Sorry, I really don't know all the details of the situation. I hear it is effecting the censorship dlc and making it unavailable. There is a stickied topic here that might give you more information. Also, there is a Discord that might help as well.

The easy solution, I hear, is to just buy the game again from Game Jolt or Itch.io. It will come uncensored by default and you won't have to worry about any of this anymore. But you really shouldn't have to do that, so I would recommend reading into those other sources.

im also from germany and jeah we dont have that option and the cencorship is pixeling and su..realy i mean man i buyed an uncencored game and you cencored it afterwarts wtf steam and german policy

this here works by me go on steamdb.info search house party go on dlc klick on the number and then on the button install but not close steam and he install the nude dlc

Why on earth this game has censorship anyways? its year 2021, have agony, sex with devil, she will punish them all, and soon carnal instincts..after it go on good sale.

Finland is good to live, cos we don't think nudity is SO bad.

Verified that steam do has DLC for uncensor this..was a bit shocked when madison had pixels all over, good there at least dlc solution.

I guess when final version hits on, this dlc gets merged in game and that check box comes back in settings.

I hope so. I hope so badly, because the only other solution, I get till now was: buy it again. You will get the DLC, or try to reload the data from steam.

First: the picture can not be loaded.

Second: in theory - yes. Practically it doesn't work for me.
