Accidentally chose not to ♥♥♥♥ Madison for the Derek friendship achievement, now I cant ♥♥♥♥ her anymore. Is there a chance to ♥♥♥♥ her again without restarting the whole game? My saves just overdrove the nearest progress before the final scene so yeah, dammit

make hard save before decisions, that way you can get the achievement then re-load old save & go the other route!

Replaying the game to that point, if you focus on it, doesn't take very long. You can't do everything on a single playthrough anyway, by design.

I personally find ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ her to be the wrong choice lmao. Derek is useful as a bodyguard.

Yeah that is over unless you saved beforehand. And someone stated that you cannot do everything in one play through, which is technically true, you can however do it through a main save and bunch of alt saves. This guide is best (unless you do not want spoilers of course) to do everything in one go.

I just don't like Madison anyways. And Derek doesn't deserve to be put through all of that. I just wish you weren't forced to mess with him to begin with and only get the opportunity to fix it at the very end. It would be nice if we could just turn Madison down from the start.

For what it's worth, keeping Derek friendly leaves several opportunities with other characters open that would be shut if he gets mad.

If you ♥♥♥♥ Madison, Derek will no longer give correct advice for other quests. This makes it difficult (if not impossible) to advance quests like Frank's humiliation. It will also be much more difficult to get anywhere with Amy, because Derek is needed twice for the scavenger hunt and he also makes Amy think you're a racist. This will hurt your relationship with her - if you aren't friendly with her at this point, she will outright refuse to talk to you ever again. And if Amy doesn't trust you, then you'll get stuck in the middle of Leah's quest line. Some of these things can be fixed, but this requires decisions and resources that will close other opportunities.

If you don't ♥♥♥♥ Madison and keep Derek friendly, then all these opportunities remain open.

I'm not sure, I haven't done that one yet.
