free cam
im still trying to figure out how to activate the free cam can anyone help?

There is no free cam.

If you mean the camera vs. cutscene for sex, hit Escape and near the bottom are check boxes, one says POV or Intamacy POV or something like that. That is the one to toggle from sex cutscene to pov.
