Console completing quests - does new dialogue appear?
If we complete quests/opportunities using the console, do we unlock new dialogue choices?
I just tried completing all Leah's quests and nothing happened, I couldn't interact with her any differently.

In general, yes, but some will take more work than others. For instance, for Katherine you can simply:

quest start "Express Yourself"
quest complete "Express Yourself"

And you're pretty much good to go as long as some other content that blocks her reward normally is not in progress, and you aren't recharging your "O meter". This will not replicate/reproduce a full playthrough of her content. Other characters require many more commands. For this reason a lot of characters have test events.

In version 0.18.x and up, try:

events katherine list

You might need to do that twice due to character display restrictions, but if you scroll up you should see an event at the top called "testsex". So this then would perform that event, which is a collection of all the scripted events needed to get Katherine into bed:

events katherine performevent testsex

Many characters have such events. As stated above, just note that these don't always reproduce sex AND full progress through their content. So, you may have some wonky dialogues or behaviors appear.

Do you mean you typed in quest complete "Snake in the Grass"
and were expecting her to talk to Frank and you tell her about the code?

Completing quests/Opportunities via the console only changes the state of the Opportunity, which is only part of what drives content in the engine. Dialogues shown, values incremented, social meters, and more are all part of how content changes in the game.

Got ya, that makes sense. I suppose what I am trying to establish is if there is a way to open all dialogue options to obtain the options you would normally get for completing all a girl's quests.

For example, many girls have a recurring option once the quests are complete. Can these be opened up through commands?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

No problem!

As for what's in the future, hint: it's probably jiggly.
