Cant get Patrick sober

I removed the wine from him and waited 15 minutes nothing has changed i have tried this twice

Please help

I gave it to him and it did nothing. Do I need to wait until the quest tells me to make him sober?

Yeah takes a while when you check him after a time it should say sober..

Actually, I can't find coffee pot. Are we talking about kettle in closet here? Because character just says "Maybe I need to put it on stove first" and I can't take it.

Use the hand (control?) to pick it up and put on stove

If you give the coffee before the quest tells you to make him sober, it gets bugged. Patrick will look and talk as if sober, but the quest will not update.

You have to give him coffee twice; once cold where you tell him it is irish coffe and then offer again...he will say it is cold, then go heat it in the kettle. If it locks at all go tell Frank something that gets him to beat him up again

For the coffee.
1. Get coffee from icebox.
2. Get kettle our of closet next to icebox and put it on the stove with the hand tool.
3. Put coffee in kettle and turn un the stove.
4. when kettle starts to whistle put coffee in empty cup and wait till its time to give to Pat when the quest tells you to then tell him its irish coffee and give it again.
5. wait till Pat says he sober again and now you can ask to get the phone.

There is other parts that can be skipped that is not listed here but this is the way to get Pat's phone.
