Console command for adding items?
I was wondering if there is a console command for adding items? It just seems silly that you are limited to just one bottle of eye drops... for example. This has probably been asked before, so thx for your patience if that is the case.

You can't duplicate items, technically, but the above poster's command is correct. Just be aware of the duplication restriction if trying to add other story items sometimes.

Thank you erasmus! I would like it if you could provide a little more explanation for: "Just be aware of the duplication restriction if trying to add other story items sometimes."... as I am not clear on what you mean by that statement.

Some notes on what I've run into:
-You can only complete one Drunk and Disorderly by copying Beers.
-Copied beers cannot be used to throw on Madison.
-Some items are not named in the code what you think they'd be. I've ended up with the Washer in my inventory before, be careful

I probably worded that in an overly complex manner. Or it was Sunday afternoon and I shouldn't have tried to work and relax at the same time :steammocking: Just know that there is no way to duplicate items right now, and generally no need to do so in terms of getting through stories. Even items that seem to disappear (have their SetEnabled set to False) can just be re-enabled via the console.

I believe that what I was referring to was 1) that you just can't duplicate some of the more interesting story items like the computer/monitor, the firepit, etc. Additionally, 2) if you've given an item to a character (A) who isn't liked by another character (B), it is possible that even if you were to re-add it to your inventory (or "duplicate it"), that decision has already had an effect within the story and giving a "duplicate" to character B would have no effect anyway.

Thank you for your explanation erasmus =) I appreciate your time to repond to my request. I understand the details a little better.
