How to obtain "Smooth Operator: Ashley"?

Hello,
so I tried it many times now, last time (now) I even looked for a guide, still haven't done it.. I just don't understand, it seems like I miss something, if the guide is legit, it says that there must be dialogue option "I would liek to see your room" or something like that when Ashley's affection is high, but I just can't trigger it.

What am I missing?

man, i was legit about to start a new post with the same question, ive viewed like 5 walkthroughs on steam and i cant get it to trigger, hope somebody answers this sooner rather than later

i managed to get the acheivment, just combined like all of the guides to do it. started from a new start.
items needed:
-Chardonaay from laundry room
-Merlot from Patrick (will include steps for this in guide)
-1 of 6 natty lites
-whipped cream from fridge
-madisons phone
-you wil need to tamper with the thermostat as well, this step can be done at any time prior to suggesting to Stephanie to dance topless
-Suggest retrieving everything at once to help streamline the guide as i will not say "go get this or that" like other guides do

>Talk to Derek
-Thanks for Inviting
-Rough week
-Ive known you too long
-End convo

>Talk to Madison
-Thanks for letting me come
-I was afterthought
-Your doing fine
-Thats how bakers keep score

>Ashley will ask you to sit down, the game forced me to sit in middle of couch
>At this point Ashley (if i remember correctly) shoud sit next to you and start a convo, if she doesnt, then just start one yourself
>Ask about the guitar
>Ask about the whiteboard
>Allow convo to finish playing (1 choice answers from here on out)
>At end of convo, she will ly down on her back in floor
>Click on her and choose "♥♥♥♥" (at no point during this encounter shoud you expose yourself, my character auto-exposed when i chose ♥♥♥♥ option, when i attempted to manual expose, game glitched forcing me to reload)
>when you finish having sex, the achievment will pop

glad i could help and have fun, also there is another thread where i am trying to help dude get the scavenger hunt achiev for amy, but its kinda dificult as i cant get it to unlock either, if you have any suggestions pop on over to the other thread and drop a suggestion, dude was askin bout the "Ashley" and "Amy scavenger hunt" achievments

I haven't done the "Scavenger hunt" yet, I have told Amy that it's not worth her "dignity" or something like that and, well, there was a happy ending, so I will have to start all over again her storyline for this achievement.

For "Ashley" he needs to convince Derek to talk with Madison, they need to smash while Vickie, you and Ashley are filming everything. I saw a good guide for this, that guy can use it.

yea, he got the ashley one to work, but we cant get amys scavenger hunt to pop despite doing it properly, i think its bugged

Hm it shouldn't be. It was briefly upon release of 0.11.3 due to a typo in the SteamName of the achievement, but that has since been corrected with a story hot fix. One caveat about that Achievement is that it requires you to get the Scavenger Hunt ending where she fully embraces her newfound confidence, so to speak.

Yep, ive done the scavenger hunt from a clean start, even tried having vickie in hutub naked, everytime, i get amy to "embrace" her new found self, but still cant get the achievement to pop, im a little sad about it as well as its the only achievement that i dont yet have

Did you use the command console at all (disabled achievements in a playthrough)?

Did you start a new game to attempt to pursue the achievement or did you load one that you had previously saved (if you loaded one that was made prior to the hot fix going live this could be a problem)?

You may want to try going into your \Documents\Eek\House Party directory and looking for and deleting an \Achievements folder, per this post: https://steamcommunity.com/app/611790/discussions/0/3220528325735274179/

Can you define exactly which dialogue line and Amy behavior you are getting that is not getting you the achievement?

I always start from new save, i do not use console commands on a save until no further progress can be made naturally, she runs from tub, follow her ti ashs room, close door, ask her why she ran, she says sorry and that it felt kida good or something like that, i dont remember all the diaglog line for line, then i say that maybe she enjoys it, and that she shouldnt be ashamed of herself, at that point she agrees and takes all her clothes off and walks out the room, it is at that point that the achievment is supposed to pop up from my understanding, the scavenger hunt opportunity completes, but the achievement doesn't, it is also possible that my game hasnt yet received the patch as i dont have a constant connection to the internet so i may need to connect to net and make sure im up to date

Alright, there are couple ways that final dialogue can go, and unfortunately the Achievement requires certain choices to be made. That being said, it could also be related to your internet availability, sure.

Once you have access to a reliable connection, delete the following two folders FIRST, then start the game again after the folders are deleted. This will clear the game's local record of what achievements you've gained (but will NOT clear your Steam record), and force you to download fresh copies of the story files. Let me know if you still have issues after that.

C:\Users\YOUR USER\Documents\Eek\House Party\Achievements\Original Story
C:\Users\YOUR USER\Documents\Eek\House Party\Mods\Stories\Original Story

Finally, make sure you are not running on any beta or test branch of the game (your Library should just say "House Party", not "House Party [testing]" etc.).

Did Everything and still can get that dialogue option , can i please get the Dialogue Number so i can force Derek to talk to me about Ash .

Derek talking to you about Ashley is not necessary to finish Ashley's Smooth Operator opportunity. When Ashley approaches and reaches you, Derek's dialogue event is canceled. There is other content that will rule out Ashley's SO from being pursued/finished. That being said, I just finished this in a few minutes on a new game via the live Steam version, and re-earned the Steam Achievement as well. It's working as intended.
