Why not release the game for PS4/XBOX ONE platforms?

It's an early release game. That doesn't happen on consoles

Not only that, but we are a very small studio without much experience developing for consoles. There's also a fair number of guidelines and standards that need to be met as part of a console release, which would only take up more of our time and overall, potentially put the project at risk.

I very much doubt it. You're just not gonna get one of the console stores to sign off on a game like this.

Yes just search the forums and you will see that erasmus already answered this earlier. It's a long term goal for the game.

True. Subjective concerns over our content are also something that may translate into difficulties releasing the game on consoles.
