t only makes onedrive the default if you pay no attention during the OS install/upgrade and allow that to happen.
Me? I'm paranoid by profession (Sr. System Admin). I did not allow it to do anything external to my PC and spent considerable time turning off eveything I could.
Win 10 is basically a collandar securty-wise no matter what you do to it but I did my best to reduce the number and size of the holes...). I make my own backups to a local pair of network attached disks regularly thank-you-very-much!
Speaking of witch, I need to remember to make a backup this weekend. ;)
