Simple Geometry Achievement

[clueless]

i am playing the game from a saved file from 13.3 where i had all 32 previous achievements


when i throw the smoke bomb right in between Lety and Leah while they are discussing the business opportunity nothing at all happens.i am standing far away ..their conversation is interrupted



i notice that only 0.1% of players have this achievement
is this glitched or Is the problem that i am playing from a 13.3 saved game?
anyone else having an issue getting this achievo to pop?

I got it by standing on top of the hot tub

^^This will work. It's a distance of 10 units, or just over 3x the distance at which NPC names begin appearing when you approach them with your crosshair on them.

Hello. achievements do not work in steam/

They do. Try exiting the game and Viewing All Achievements for House Party. Try logging into Steam in Online mode. Worst case, try deleting this folder on your PC: C:\Users\YOU\Documents\Eek\House Party\Achievements\Original Story

I've made and posted a few videos here lately of Achievements being earned in 0.14.4 via normal means.

i got this achievement but after i quit out of the game, mine was from between the fire pit and hot tub

I got it from behind the fire pit. One thing I noticed, though, is that the conversation won't be interrupted (thus not popping the achievement) if Leah hasn't started mentioning the money.

My two cents: save the game when you hear the moolah being mentioned and then try different positions.

Yeah i come from there, the explanation for this achievement in that guide is quite vague, thats why I came here.
