I don't get any option other than to ask for her number and then she just hates me.

i managed to get vickie in the house and then thats as far as the story goes. so im guessing that means the same for amy

I've managed to get Vickie in the house. Then if you say the right things to her she offers to help you get with someone if you're friends with them. The only option that does anything is if you pick her. She then sets you a challenge of trying to make friends with Ashley (you're on the ♥♥♥♥ list due to what you have to do to get Vickie's number). I then get a quest called "Redemption". I talk to Ashley and appologise, then it says 1/3 completed. I then completed Ashley's whole questline and nothing. When I talk to Derek he says get her a gift but I've tried every takeable item in the game on her (even all the booze) and nothing works.

For Ashleys quest (Redemption): There is a flower in the backyard to the left out the door along the path in the bushes, you can give it to Ashley but then she complains. Thats as far as i've gotten.
