Good question! My understanding is that they're going to see how the VR version does before they release the non-VR version. If the VR version does well, I'm sure they will follow up with non-VR. Be warned, though, that you can expect the non-VR version, if it ever gets released, to cost the same $60 as the VR version. So don't go buying the VR version thinking that you may be able to buy the non-VR later at a discounted rate. That's perfectly justifiable really, if you think about how complicated it will be to transfer the game from a VR to a non-VR environment.

Flat screen gaming is a fad, plain and simple. No one will be playing games pancake stlye in a few years, you guys are suckers. Pancake is just moving your VR headset a few feet away from your face so dumb! Flat screen gaming is totally niche and will never catch on.

You can’t get true 3D without a glass tv that bubbles out towards you. Plus you can write in blue electricity once you turn the tv off.

Honestly, I was trying to figure out the same thing. I can't figure out how to startthe game in non vr mode. I don't always wish to play in vr.

I believe an existing developer is working on a new VorpXY driver that runs VR games on a flat screen. Expect copious amounts of tweaking though to get semi acceptable results!

Really have you been living under a rock for the past 7 years? They only have this game on every possible playable system including the Nintendo Switch. They even have a spoof video of it on it being on the Echo dot https://screenrant.com/skyrim-amazon-echo-alexa/
