Well its all preference really. Do you want guns/grenades or swords/bows, explore a wasteland or explore mountains?

As for quality of VR, they both are basically similiar to the way they play. It seems due to the older nature of Skyrim it runs on lower systems if that is what you need to consider, and I think Fallout 4 VR is a little less Oculus friendly if you have an Oculus.

But they are about level for me so depends on what you would rather do.

Only get Fallout 4 VR if you have a beast system, otherwise it'll be a blurry mess.

Skyrim. It has DLC and runs better.
Preferably neither though.

Yeah thats a point. Why oh why does Fallout VR still not have the DLC...

I would rebuy the season pass again for a proper VR valid version but nothing.

Play them both. I would start with Skyrim since it has less hickups and there's a giant list of mods that work perfectly.

Skyrim VR is insanely pretty and I wish I could move there and live in one of the badass looking caves or a castle.

I will say Fallout in VR is a bit shocking. Its one thing running through a wasteland in the 2D version but doing it VR was sometimes depressing. This is a good thing since it feels real AF and thats the point of the game, but I was a bit shocked. Running around The Shining Sea was amazing but at the same time I wanted to get the F out of there as quickly as possible. After hour 2 I was like "this is breathtaking in its own crazy way but I must leave before I go crazy".

I highly encourage everyone to play both games with slow motion (Skyrim that means being an archer, Fallout it just means taking perks to make VATS even better). Both games are fantastic when you slow down time.

I got fallout first and then spent more hours configuring it than I have playing it, the optimisation is poor and you will pull your hair out at how badly it needs modding and tweaking.

Skyrim worked out of the box, even has dynamic resolution. Skyrim causes no issues and has some great gfx mods than arnt too harsh on your cpu.

Fallout 4 VR works fine with all the DLC except "Automatron". It hangs during using the workstation to create robots. I'm sure there's a mod that fixes it by now.

Fallout 4, IMHO looks and plays better than Skyrim if you just do one simple edit.

I guess that depends on your processor and video card though.

But, if you're using Oculus.. well... I'd be careful.

Not only is it owned by Fakebook now, but they just lost another lawsuit about it.

Wait, doesn't that article say that it was a counter case that cut Oculus' previous loss and damages payment in half and stopped Zenimax from blocking sales? That's hardly losing another lawsuit, pretty sure thats partially winning a counterclaim.
