That said, someone on r/vive implied you can copy the save game folder between Fallout 4 and Fallout 4VR so if you have both versions, I suppose you could try that.
Yes it is. It's called Fallout 4.
Now I know that sounds like I'm joking but only partially. Save games are compatable between both versions of the game (because they are just the same game with a VR mod, same patch version and everything).
So if there is a section you must play on a monitor, copy the save file to the fallout 4 saves directory. Then copy it back when you are done.

That's a shame. If you had already paid $60 for and owned the "65mb fallout4.exe" and "5mb launcher" from the vanilla version of the game that would have been all you will need. Guess there's nothing you can do unless Bethesda decides to merge the products on the store.
