Flexing?? No. Just these snowflake gamers nowdays need to be told that they suck and should go practice against bots before going into a lobby with the big boys.
Last games I played were good, alot of good players. I'm just trying to get my 20 kills while the top players battle it out for 50.
Someone shows up and does a speed run to 50. Didn't get a "gg" there. Person typed, "are you guys even trying"
It didn't bother me, someone like that doesn't show up back to back games, I wonder why
I think "bg" can also be misinterpreted...clearly there are some players like JP who seem proud of their "bad sportsmanship" (which is their prerogative...) but I think others sometimes use it to sympathise with their opponents...in 8-0 CTF games I've seen some players on the winning side use "bg" to mean it was a bad game because it was "bad balance" which isn't being disrespectful in itself...ofc if it's backed up with "ez" "noob team" and "uninstall you loser" etc. etc. well yer, clearly your opponents are demonstrating they have no respect for you. In some cases that may come from a "hardcore attitude" (which is their prerogative to have), in others it may come from a liking for "trash talk" (although in my experience most that dish it out can't take it...and will quit a game that isn't going their way rather than suffer a defeat themselves) and in other cases it's just showing themselves up for who they really are...fragile egos that need to feel big about themselves by trying to diminish others...essentially children that never grew up...maybe they were bullied at school and now see quake as a mechanic to "return the favour".
We're never going to have deep and meaningful conversations in QC with random players. Perhaps not a bad thing sometimes lol
I always leave team games when im at 40 frags and my team mates cant even reach 10 each. These people just dont deserve to be carried. Ofc before leaving, i make sure to let them know how bad they are.
Other than that, almost every game is a bg for me, because QC is just a trash game.
So that covers the leaving matches, the "bg" and remaining only is the "ez" which i say when the match was an wasy stomp because im not a liar.
Just because some people don't like to use superficial empty phrases doesn't mean they are autistic.
