This isn't Bethesda's decision, it's Microsoft's. They can't legally pay those Russian/Belarusian QPL players because of the sanctions being done by the US, where id, Bethesda, and Microsoft are all ran from.

AFAIK they can still play the game, they just can't compete in QPL.

These are different things

• Being able to find a game in the Steam Store
• Being able to see the store page of a game via its link
• Being able to add a game to the Steam Library
• Being able to download a game which is in the Steam Library
• Being able to start a game which is in the Steam Library

SteamCharts doesn't show a change in the player base compared to the past week and I can't recall Russian players complaining on discord today.

20 years ago your access to products you already purchased wasn't cut off for any reason, it's not right, and I'd rather not get too political, we supposed to be on a damn game forum to get away atleast for a little while from all the crazy stuff that's going on in the world, if there was no DRM we wouldn't be having this discussion as OP could just go play his game and i don't see why he shouldn't be able to.
