How to recognize a cheater?
There was one guy that was totally destroying my team and when I tried to kill him with Scalebearer's charge, the ability stopped working for a second in the moment I was passing through that guy, and then Scalebearer started charging again.
Also is 93% aim accuracy normal?

Sorry if I sound like a noob accusing people of cheating because I suck, I just want to know.

That dude's long term stats look legit to me. Played quite a few games. Looks like someone with a good aim, high mg and rail, decent lg. Heavy rocket damage. Also appears to be a sng maniac.

I think he'd whup me too.

Not impossible, for a pro.

You have some packet loss, mate. Cheaters only use speedhack and aimbot.

Normal for shotgun, not normal for anything else, well it also depends on amount of shots fired.

Yes, normal for the shotgun, and also a good person with the rail-gun can get 90-100%, although that might be their best weapon, not the one they killed everyone with, it's just giving the best overall weapon stat...

The only stat given is accuracy% and Kills%, I'm assuming he's meaning accuracy %, because if it's kills%, that only means someone used the same weapon 90% of the time....

What "overall stat" are you people speaking about?

Frankster Apr 8, 2021 @ 10:27pm
It's highly unlikely for all other weapons besides the shotgun, and if it's done with the rail, it's possible, but only a very good player. ie. a pro. I've seen Rapha do it with the rail on multiple occasions.... I've seen him get 100%, actually, even. A few times for big money even, I think.

Anyhow, with the rest of the weapons, it's impossible, and is most certainly some sort of cheat.

Personally, I haven't seen many cheats of late, maybe one here or there suspect, but not often. But I play the US servers.

If you play against a player who is absolutely destroying you in a way you feel is suspicious, you can have a look at their stats on https://quake-stats.bethesda.net/

The long-term accuracy stats here will give you a much better judgement on whether their accuracy is suspiciously high or not. In one match, you can achieve surprisingly high accuracy stats with a bit of luck.

Most obvious hacks that I think you can see are movement hacks (super fast acceleration from standing start) and quickfire hacks (weapons firing much faster than they should).

It's really difficult to spot wall hacks and aim bots, though when you are getting your backside handed to you, it often feels like all opponents are wall hacking aimbots. But most of the time they are probably just good players.

damn that guy has so much time played, that explains how he is so good, lmao so much practice

Some Quake players are skilled enough to spot bot users simply by behavioral movements. The standard bods have similar activity. You really have to understand Quakes movement engine from just playing it long enough. With Quake Champions the abilities kind of add a bit more of a dynamic. For example Visor's ability is pretty much a wall hack but its his ability so you shouldn't need a wall hack lol.
Much respect to Keel for being the only one with the nades.

I don't bother making accusations over it any more I pick my battles hahaha.
That's how I see it anyway :D

I'm not a "very good" player i.e. a pro and did 100 % RG several times lately. You call it: "This player is on a roll with a kill streak" :steammocking:
