Specs?

Proton GE with DXVK-async lets the game build the shader cache without holding up the entire game process. Not sure if that's what you're referring to.

Other than that I'm not sure what to tell you since I've also been having hard FPS drops ever since I updated Mint to version 20 so it's probably software-related.

I use proton 6.14 GE-2 and have this option:

DXVK_ASYNC=1 gamemoderun %command%

Perf vary between 70 and 120 fps mersure, as i said quality settings don't relay impact performance but the map where you play yes. and i get stutter where the framerate drop drasticly.

My spec : AMD Ryzen 9 5900 / NVIDIA RTX 3080 / RAM: 32GB, and i don't play on 4k monitor. i don't realy care on graphics quality i just need a constant high framerate specialy for competitive fps.

I ran the game at 100/110 FPS, I'm using Arch Linux with Sway (Wayland).

This is the launch command:
gamemoderun %command%

This is my hardware:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
AMD Radeon RX 570

I'm not using Proton-GE just Proton-Experimental.

My Hardware is way older and i have no problem. Have you tried Proton Experimental? Maybe disable compositor in your DE. Whats your systems kernel? Tried a Zen-like kernel yet?

D3rh4ns rarely comments here, but on discord he described interesting results with the FSR implementation which can be found in recent Wine, perhaps.
