The anti cheat update broke compatibility with the Steam Controller, I'm guessing with every Steam Input based controller, after moving the mouse the game slow downs and crashes.

You can try reWASD, I haven't used it much, there are settings form Steam Inpunt I can't find how to emulate in it for my Steam Controller, but for a Xbox controller it might be easier to configure.

im having the same problem, anyone manage to get there controller working yet?
my xbox controller worked fine before anti cheat update.

You can try reWASD, Steam Input no longer works, but personally I don't like reWASD. I think you have to activate the options in the settings of "Enable Mouse/Keyboard on behalf of:" and your physical devices, it might work with reWASD virtual devices but I haven't tried.

FPS games are meant to be played on kbm.

rewasd works but it would be pretty difficult to compete against mkb players since there is no aim assist at all and the game is so fast paced.
