Video Footage of knru CHEATING/AIMBOT in Quake: Champions.
Take a look at this cheater, kurutv on twitch.tv. Checkout video May 7, 2018. (Video hours: 5:19:38) Skip the video to ----> 03:56:03. You can see the aimbot moving the Lightening Gun's Beam on its own. From my vantage point it was shocking. I was writing stuff to him in the chat as
he fired several shots with the TRI-BOLT in my direction, then he came down to frag me. After I was done writing to him in the chat I left the game because I wasn't going to give this cheater a victory. Even though there was a chance I could've won if I stayed and continued.

I am not supporting the idea that Psychic_ChunLi has a legit complaint, but not all cheats are that obvious. Cheats today can be very sophisticated. I cant say for QC, but lots of games have cheats with compensation in the aim to make it look natural, you could in theory cheat with people watching and not be detected. Its possible.

Having said that, I dont think I play a game on STEAM atm that does not have a thread like this. Everyone cheats, or is a cheat shill, cheat site promoter etc etc. Its a perfect argument, because anyone who disagress becomes part of the conspiracy.

Psychic_ChunLi, my advice to you is, if you REALLY believe someone cheats, report them and move on with your life. STEAM also has rules against naming and shaming, for good reasons, regardless of how obvious a cheater may be. I have seen more people get community banned for posting threads like this, then I have seen people get banned for cheating as a result of threads like this.

A respectful and logical reply. Thank you.

You're right! There isn't much I can do except report it. True. God bless you.

Go get your G.E.D. You can't handle simple conversations. This is a thread and you can't even explain yourself probably or man-up to being a cheater with smurf accounts.

You don't even know me fool.

I know you're extremely uneducated by the way you present yourself. I know you don't know how to argue or form a coherent sentence, this entire thread is proof of that. I also know you are not an adult because adults don't act like you do. Do your parents know what your doing young man?

Like I said to you before little kid, you don't know me to pass judgement. What you say is irrelevant. Have a nice day. Goodbye!

I know you well enough to pass judgment on you. I can pass judgment on how you behave in this forums. And your a crazy little ♥♥♥♥. Btw Kiddo don't try and project, we both know your young so tacitly calling me a kid isn't doing you any favors.

Don't do that, don't try and give him credit. Cheats always have predictable behavior or are guided by some type of logic. Because they are programmed scripts. They look for hitboxes, or they read data from the game. No one programs cheats that are so sophisticated that they look like normal play, they program cheats that try and bypass a games anti cheat software. Trying to make cheats that look like normal play would be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless. Most people don't stream games so how cheats look doesn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ matter all that matters is they bypass anti cheat software. So no he doesn't have a legit ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ complaint hes crazy.

Read EXACTLY what I replied to you. Each word matters, you didnt read them all.

100% wrong. In games like COD, where guns have recoil and the recoil affects aim, you get cheats that allow you to fire without recoil, yet the animation in game has the recoil. It look legit, but its not. COD has killcams, so if you are cheating and want to pretend you have skill, you cant be obvious.

Thats exactly what they do. To bypass anticheat is simple for the most part, thats not where the problem is. Take CSGO, it has lots of anticheat development, and it has lots of cheaters (and also, lots of players). CSGO has overwatch (Not the game Overwatch) which is anticheat system based on peer reviewd demos of peoples gameplay. A cheat can bypass VAC SUPER easy, there is really nothing to it, but you then have the extra layer of having to make it not look obvious to a human, or people get overwatch banned.

If you dont know this, then you dont know enough to comment on the subject.

And this is why I gave the advice, report and move on. Reports on a legit player will never matter.

Alright, this is actually the most ridiculous thread.

There is one person here who thinks you cheat.

Anyone who plays online games must have been called a cheat at some point. My LG is 25%, and I have been called a cheat in QC.

My advice to Psychic_ChunLi to report and move on is what I would advice anyone, because reports dont lead to bans of legit players, and if someone actually is cheating, threads like this never help.

You really should not worry about it.

I have come across many people like that, and age and experiance dont seem to matter. Often its down to other issues in life, and things like this become an outlet for that.

The problem is the change has to come from themselves. You cannot prove you dont cheat, its impossible, so people just grow the conspiracy further.

People who think like this tend not to get better in my experiance, they are already top players and everyone better cheats. You cant argue with that, its self realization thats required. You get this mentality in all games. Like I said earlier, there is literally a version of this thread for all MP games I play on STEAM.

When "you are right, and everyone else wrong", you can only take your own experiance into account. You wont take the word of those who are "wrong". Dumb, but thats how some people work.

Dont make other peoples issues yours though and dont even bother defend yourself, there is no need.

why the need for the defence network if there is nothing of interest ? surely just leaving it to the mods would have been enough, I would have thought there wasn't nearly enough time in a day for all these counter responses to one apparent clueless fool, seems fishy.
Sean Lawn May 14, 2018 @ 8:34am
so any news on the anticheat situation ? I read on a post that it was in a more active state from this update forward but recently another post suggested that next patch would adress cheat problems, so if anyone has any sourced info,

Oh man... I was pretty harsh and disrespectful towards your comments in your previous thread, and I felt a little bit bad about it, since my comments were more on a speculative side. I obviously didn't know who this "knru" is (or whatever his nickname is), and I didn't know for sure if you were talking about a real cheater or you simply made things up.

But I watched this video (especially that moment you mentioned in your OP), and now I feel much better.

I was right about you. You can't tell the difference between a cheater and a legit player. You just spread this bullcrap nonsense, and pretend as if your pov has any value.

At least you chose a good answer to your topic.

P.S.

Looks like nseven has ported his humanized aimbot to quake champions from quake live.
here's a sample of the QL version. https://youtu.be/szDnC4KqPr4 Accuracy can be set low or high. You could avg. 35% to stay off peoples radar. I've played against people using it. Very hard to tell.
