Load Times??

Why are the Load Times so bad in this game nowadays? I don't remember it being so bad. It takes a good minute and a half for the menu to load and then the map itself loads kinda slow and then the post-game rewards/stats take another minute to load.

It's not my PC since I have a good rig and an SSD and I have no issues on other games. I also don't remember this game having such bad load times everywhere...is this is a new issue with the latest update or something? (Sorry I haven't played this in a few months so I'm not up to speed on the latest builds).

My load times are less than 2 min launching from here until I get into a game when using practice mode, or getting a match straight away. It hardly take longer than 2 min to "find" a game almost anytime of the day.

I do have SSD and 16GB memory, so that's helping speed the process along.

I timed it yesterday, 45 seconds to menu. Not the best but it's gotten better for me

It's not just me thinking this though, right? It does seem strange how much loading there is to get to the menu, then the game, and then the post-match stats...right? I wonder if it has something to do with the servers or the network connectivity as well...

The game's files are all packed into giant encrypted and compressed archives, so long loading times are a combination of disk read speed and CPU horsepower.

sounds like you may have a shader cache glitch. try cleaning your gpu shader cache and see if that helps. my load times are maximum of 30secs.

fast internet and nice ping. ssd and other thigs . loading times are border idiotic!!!! bethesda and ther servers are a joke.!!!! i dont even have map choice icons anymore!

my load time to get to menu is super slow
and load time to get into actual game is slow
and when get in game is so laggy

I've done some research and I'm not the only one that experiences this. However after playing for a while, my load times have gotten better which is nice. That said on average this game still does have some long load times. The devs definitely should try to fix, because otherwise the game is great and I love it (and the community). Would love to see more people appreciating it!

This game simply needs 2 things: way way faster loading and - a old school server browser. Also once people are on a server why not just stay on and rotate maps? Like in the old quake days. This match making is for console players. Plain and simple.
