Stuck on "Connecting to Server"
I am stuck on the connecting to server menu when first loading up the game. Yes I've tried restarting, yes i have verified game cache, nothing is working. Any1 else had this problem?

As weird as it sounds try playing with the graphic settings.

Also keep in mind that lower settings often pushes "performance" off the gpu onto the cpu (which for alot of pepople is sig worse performance wise).

I cant even get into the main menu so fixing with settings is also out of the option.

Game asks me to select region for a brief second, then it all dissapears and I start connecting to servers...

That sounds like a networking issue. Check firewall/antivirus settings if they are blocking outgoing connections of QC.

The game is not blocked by firewall/antivirus. I just reinstalled the game after not playing for a while and it worked completely fine back then.

In that case you can try removing the configuration files from \Users\<you>\AppData\Local\id Software\Quake Champions - perhaps the game remembers some obsolete setting from the past.

Yea, removing your app data is a good first step. If that doesn't work, I would look at possibly doing a complete reinstall, again.

What is the end result? Does it freeze the program? Lock up or crash, or simply kick you back into windows?

Latency deviation. Latency almost never follows a normal Gaussian or Poisson distribution, so looking at averages, medians, and even standard deviations is useless. Latency tends to be heavily multimodal, and part of this is attributed to “hiccups” in response time.

Especially true when connecting to external networks...

For example, I've got fiber optic network here. But my deviation is still all over the place. In some places, it's barely nothing, in others, it hops around erratically. This can express itself in all sorts of ways, from "stuttering" to peak time "traffic" issues that make the network unplayable or even incapable of connection in extreme circumstances....
