MSVCP140.dll Is Missing, QC fails to initialize / boot [FIXED]

Had an issue where QC began failing to initialize / boot. I ended up DL'ing the bethesda launcher and trying from there, since there were no error messages in Steam. Where I got the error, MSVCP140.dll Is Missing.

To fix this:
>Go to add/remove programs and select Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (x86)

>>Right-Click and select Uninstall

>>>Select REPAIR in the window (Don't Uninstall)

Repeat same steps for Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (x64)


JOY! Game works again. Works on Steam & Bethesda Launcher again.

Thanks for the tip. That's exactly why I did not get it up and running for two days.
