Quake live does not have to be run with r_vertexlight 1. In any case, lg and rl is harder in ql.
What is most definitive is that qc has a long way to go before it can reach the same competitive playabiliy that ql has to offer.
What's your point again?
Quake 4 has Campaign Mode.
Hey man one of these days you should post a thread that has an actual point.
You're probably remembering how everything was faster at a stupidly high FOV 4:3 stretched.
This just simply isnt true since the hitbox isnt that of keel's size or tankjr, its a fixed size for everyone in ql, regardless of model. RL is a bloody kamikaze nuke in QC compared to what it is in QL. This is undeniable quite simply. I can be a good say 5 bodies away from a wall in qc and still take a whopping 70-80 dmg, ie as playing visor. It's ridiculous. I dont care who im playing in qc if i got rocket launcher, i can destroy anyone in medium range battles easily. And it can even work as a sniping tool with its current splash radius.
LG obviously a lot easier as well with very large hitboxes in qc, especially on the tanks.
Please dont take this as i say this or that is better. Im merely pointing out the mechanics of these things are vastly different.
