Whats the point of even playing slash?
680 cap? Really? So a squishy champion goes just as fast as Sorlag, a tanky champion. Like wtf, why even play Slash anymore.

Faster speed gain, isnt it? Sorlag cant gain max speed even if u r god of CJ. (Instantly ofc.)

lol whats the point? the fastest movement in any and every direction, yeah i dont think other mid and small champs will be hitting 680 constantly

you want that OP slash back where theres no reason to play anything else?

Dude Sorlag has cpma aswell and will also be able to keep her speed while turning and so will Anarki at 800ups.

Erm... I'd like to remind you of one video by Toxjq ;) Back then Slash also had 680 cap. She could only exceed it by some additional factors (using active ability / rocket jumping / going through a teleport, etc.), but as far as her "normal" movement is concerned you can clearly see 680 was the cap... Toxjq didn't seem to be bothered with it in the slightest ;)

the last patch killed Slash, and she's my favourite character. I hope she becomes playable again.

so in comparison, a regular strafe in any ctf map in ql will net you about 1000 ups, faster with perfection, even faster with weapons, a lot faster too of course on large maps.
700 (680)ups is not even close to catching up to someone at 800 let alone 1k. Which seems to be the thing, they want all the champions to have some measure of at least feeling they can catch up to someone else. Which will never work, because its different characters and cant be balanced out with weak champ/nerfed normal walk speed vs tanky champ/same capped speed as weak champ but can rj to go faster, even twice or 3 times rj to catch up. I mean you're going to be a complete dork for not picking a tank/medium in so many situations now.
This situation is a big problem with mode as ctf incoming or sacrifice where your KD doesnt matter, only the objective does. And it's being balanced by chumps who doesnt know what they're even balancing it for.
Because rest assured, that much is obvious. Other then that it's just a mess.
I thought at least they would leave the 2000 ups speed cap alone even tho the accel is so low it was just theoretical with weapons you could achieve it, but then they just nerf it back down to 680, which for all things quake considered, is pretty much snail speed in ctf, its practically just rushing across ironworks mid while railing targets on the side and nerfing your own speed, and you know you're not going fast then.
Disappointing, I had hoped they would have understood their own product by now. Might as well throw in battle royale mode now too, because the speed is all balanced around it, slow af. That be great eh, they probably throwing dice about it around the water cooler. Bloody nightmare.

I used to be a slash main, i haven't played as a slash since her hp got reduced.

RIP slash, this happened once again because too many ppl cried...
