Still getting error code 104

How can I resolve this issue? Ever since the last update I have not been able to get access to the server(s).

Maybe restart your router? Restart game? Validate local files? and as a last option...Reinstall game?

I reinstalled just last weekend. didn't fix the issue. My bethesda acct is proplery linked to my steam account too.

oh well then try this guide:
TESL Solution did not worked for me I just cant login to tesl either, but I have one more quicker solution for this issue!
1. Turn off all Internet connection
2. Run Quake and wait for 'No Internect connection error'
4. Alt tab back to windows
5. Turn on your Internet connection
5. Alt tab back to Quake.
6. Just see what the h... bethesda did here.
7. Game will recover just accept error dialog.
8. Login using bethesda account credentials
9. .....
10. Profit!
11. There where no 3rd point.
12. 5th point twice

apparently the game has problems connecting with any method other than wired router connection, if you are using wired router connection then this issue is likely firewall related and renewing firewall exceptions for the game will likely resolve the issue, you may need to portforward

UDP 48800 to 48900
TCP 11700 to 11725

the game has no problems with either wired or wireless connection, I play on my laptop with WiFi an it works just fine so what you're saying doesn't make sense.

well a while ago there were reports of people having issues getting connected using wireless but thanks for clearing that up, although there are other ways of connecting to the net other than through a router.

Yea I know, I've heard about those connection issues. But they where mainly caused by an error that users experienced who had linked their Steam account to their bethesda account. But I am pretty sure that was fixed in a patch.

more than likely firewall, dns or port related then.

It is becoming a serious problem for me. I have not been able to connect to the server for four days due to error 104. I no longer know what to do ...

seems i get the 104 error all day till about 11 pm eastern then i can connect..was playing all night till i went to bed around 3am by 9am back to 104 error..this is the 4th day in a row that this has happened
