How do you record your best frags?
Thanks, Kojak.
Nowhere near as good as a proper demo or replay system...
what do you need that for ?
There are multiple reasons someone would benefit from having a recording from the other players perspective being available in game. Having the view of your opponent can be beneficial for reporting hackers with definitive proof.
Then there's also the aspect that it assists in maintaining a healthy community, because when this feature is avaiable, it removes any question as to whether or not it's a highly skilled player or someone using a cheat, thus removes some toxicity towards the exceptionally good portion of the veteran playerbase.
In general, there's no reason why this shouldn't be included in every highly competitive shooter. There's really only benefits to this being avaialble.
yea I know I just wondered wanted to hear moles say it, sorry you got caught up in this.
Being able to record your own gameplay at ultra quality settings/without HUD etc. without having to use those settings while playing.
Being able to record your own gameplay from 3rd-person or other points of view.
Being able to watch a match from other player's points of view.
Being able to watch your own gameplay to identify weaknesses without the performance hit that something like ShadowPlay causes.
Demos/replays would also make it much easier for pro players to distribute their gameplay for other people to watch.
I could go on and on... There are countless reasons that any serious competitive title should support demos or replays.
thats really alot moe detailed than I thought it would be, thought you'd run into some cheaters.
Nope. If you do suspect that you've encountered a cheater demos would help you to see if they were actually cheating though...
If I could replay a demo and verify that for 100% i would report that person. But without it is is very hard.
So i second the qestion - devs are you going to implement any demo/replay/recording feature in the game?
