Still can't create a Bethesda account.

I've tried ever since the game launched (For 5 days now) to create an account at Bethesda. Problem is, every time I try to "Verify" my account I get the error "Something went wrong, please try again later". This has happend for 5 days now, even my friend tried to complete it for me but with the same error. I can't complete my account and play as far as I can tell without it. Haven't gotten a respons from Bethesdas support either.

Just created a post about this. It's a SERIOUS issue and I've gotten ZERO response from ANYONE about it.

I've tried to submit multiple usernames in every possible combination, completed the captcha and filled every field... I even went to the main website and tried to create a "new" new account from scratch instead of what the Quake Login screen prompted me to do, but NOW since I "technically" recived the verification email (that links us the the page that gives us the red box of death), my email is in permanent "limbo" and is considered "in use" (since I can neither activate it or get rid of it)

I filed this as a billing issue with Tech Support... maybe THAT get their attention (doubt it)

I will, but it's looking grim... Literally no else seems to be having this except us, must be extremely rare... figures it happens to me.

I'm guessing that we'll eventually have to create a new, bogus email address JUST for this Bethesda nonsense... you know, since the email address we WANT to use is in permanent limbo forever and ever now.

I guess I'll need a refund if I can't figure this out soon.

If you use a different email address and it works, let me know.

happened to me aswell guys,
i chekced up some forums about why i cannot create a username via Bathesda.net
It seems that you cannot fill in more than one alphnumerical character as "-", ".", ",", "+","-","_" and so on.. only one alphanumerical is possible i cannot load the username when prompet in-game.
bathesda.net is allowing me to conect via web browser, but when i try to log in to my accound ingame i am stuck with "INVALID CREDENTIALS"
the game does not support alphanumerical characters :
"-", ".", ",", "+","-","_"
someone please help!

My friend gifted this to me, so I told him to refund it, but it got denied so that ship has sailed for me haha!

The issue for me was the username. The username you picked might be taken already but the site doesn't let you know. When I changed username it worked without problem. Now the fact that they ask you to make a username with a symbol in it and then you can't type symbols into the ingame login screen.. that's the next issue for me.

I find it hard to believe that all 100+ random usernames that I tried (some even random gibberish) were ALL taken or invalad... it seems like that may be yet ANOTHER bug with this process...

Wow changing the name actually worked, all I did was changing it from "Farixy" to "Farixyy". I can even log into the actual game using symbols too. This whole thing is a circus at this point really, thank you for the help!
