Just google how to use Xbox one controller on PC. It is easy to make it work. I use Xbox and PS3 controllers on my PC.

I use the controller for other games... but in this one it does not detect it, when entering the game I go to control settings, but only wireless control appears and the wired control does not detect it

If your controller doesn't get recognized open the game using steam big picture.
Also, make sure the controller is enabled on the steam big picture settings.

Did you try to enable Steam Input? I believe this game is bugged like that.

In your library, right-click on the game, select "Properties", select "Controller" and choose "Enable Steam Input".

You need to active Steam Big Picture, in that mode you go on library search the game, go on configuration, and search a config for the control, i high recomend you to use the most liked version.

Actually, I did not run the game in "big picture"; I've never used that at all. I just had to flip that setting from "default" to "enabled" (which, by conclusion, means I've turned it off globally, but I when I looked for that setting some time ago I couldn't even find it).
I also checked a few other games before making that post, which are still set to "default".
