About the Hidden Skill "Thorn of Illusions"

Turns out every Guide out there is outdated, if you are like me and did search for ages on how about to unlock this you can stop right here, because i can tell you, i after weeks of searching still dont have an clue.

I wanted to unlock it for Sinon, knew that i needed to inflict 250 Debuffs and have Killing Blow or 2h Spear Mastery, ended up with ALL the Spear skills just to be sure, but after something like 10 hours of debuffing enemies i still didnt got it.
Decided to look around if there is a way to check somehow, found a Cheat Engine Table wich just confirmed what i tought, i had 492 debuffs dealt. Made an Backup for my save, and cranked those number 1k, 10k, 100k, 1kk, 10kk, 100kk ... nothing no unlock, ill even gone trough the trouble of changing maps inbetween and even spent some time doing random crap out in the field.

In short, the Devs changed what you have to do to get it.
I also noticed that, for example in the Warmonger skill tree the first one the passive one, in every guide its said it only gives Max HP +15%, but ingame it gives you Max HP +50% and Max Attack +50% (i think it was attack, need to check again to be sure). So yeah, dead game is dead and got an update sometime ago wich nobody was interested in.

any sources said just deal 250 debuff to enemy
also which kind of debuff did you grind for 10 hours?

Yep, i dont have it unlocked.
In general just all the sword skills that can apply a debuff, and as i wrote, the cheat table confirmed that i dealt close to 500 debuffs, and i even edited this value to over 10 million and it did not unlocked.
Dunno whats wrong with that skill, every other skill sofar just unlocked as it should.

i dont want to start a new game, im 40 hours in at this point ...

on my side i had no problem into unlocking dual wield following the guide.
