Is there still no mod or fix?

When will there be a fix to the controller support? This steam controller/keyboard emulation is so crappy. What controllers are actually native to this game? I might break and buy one so I can play with native controller support...

Ok. Now that your assumtion is over, my friends own the game and I won't even play it without proper controller support. Is there anyone else who isnt a child who can answer my question. I don't mean xpadder or the crappy steam keyboard mapping either. What controllers are natively supported?

apparently those who buy the game actually get a controller support through steam in the mapping section but it causes the game to stutter a ton if you want to play it I recommend inputmapper as that works kinda like steams but takes longer to setup.

Mhm, you mean you bought the game in a Shop and Installed it to your PC? or do you mean you bought it in the Steam store and download it to your PC?

If the 2nd is the case, just go to the settings of the Big Picture mode and there to Controller settings. There you can check or uncheck PS4 or Xbox controller configuration. I have a Wireless X-Box controller and checked the Box for Xbox Controller Config. Since then i can play SAO HR without problems with my Controller.

I dont have any issues with Lag or Stutter ingame so far. Well tbh i haven´t played it lately du to no time. But i spend a few hours with the Release and i had no problems at all.

Wireless Xbox One Elite controller here, no problems whatsoever. No need to set up anything.

Wired X360 controller here.
All I had to do was tick a box in Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Configuration. No need for any form of keyboard mapping, nor does it cause any form of input lag.
