First Tutorial Fight Mission Bug?

I keep getting stuck on the tutorial mission fighting the buffallo and i cannot in turn get past it as i cannot seem to stagger him any suggestions? Even when timing it right it doesnt seem to do anything.

You have to use a sword skill on him after he finishes his attack.

What if you don't have a sword and instead only have as spear, like in my case?

Just keep at it and you will eventually get it

You have to hit it with a skill about 3/4ths the way through its attack channeling. Its really annoying to do because the game sucks and doesn't register it 90% of the time. The easiest way is to just stand there and wait for the right time, you don't need to constantly hit it and when the time is right attack.

yeah his heath isnt going down for me and the notification is still there even when i stuned him i'd say this is a bug

took me a while too :( its hard when you have to move both your mouse and use camera keys as well as U and h key and wasd keys all at once :(

Late to the party but might help someone in the future...

"If you time your sword skill to strike right after an enemy's skill, you can stagger the enemy. You can deal more damage to a staggered enemy."

Have to use u and h skills
