Because this game does NOT support alt-tabbing out and in more than a couple times or it crashes for me after doing it twice.
Haven't played that long in windowed mode but the performance is crap in windowed mode for me since i have a 4K screen, might work better for others. But fullscreen and no alt-tabbing is the way to go, never crashed so far for me by playing like that.
Your AV might be causing the problem. Had the same issue. whitelisting the .exe file fixed it for me.
Nope, that wasn't it but thanks for suggesting. I guess I'll disconnect one of my monitors when I get back from work and see what happens. I swear.....this game is a frickin memory hog.
Make sure to make a reply here if disconnecting one monitor worked, sadly i cannot try this myself since i have my only hdmi port plugged into my surround receiver and the DP into my screen, but if it's the case of dual monitor problem i might do an exception to see if i can make it work with dual monitors.
Yeah, just tested this out and nope, no results so it has nothing to do with being on dual monitors. Bandai Namco is just going to have to patch this game before it came be playable to those who have the tutorial crash issue. <_<
Then i guess it's hardware or perhaps software related as usual as some games does not tend to run as well on all hardware, as i've experienced that myself with other games.
As far as software goes, different antivirus makes a difference aswell as NOT installing any games on C: which is one of the most stupid solutions really.
C: tends to be "locked" even if you are the administrator, simply installing it on another drive like D: or any other letter than C: usually fixes many issues.
I'm sorry but I don't think I'll be able to find a solution for anyone who is still having this issue right now.
