Can you play with other players online?

I have this game but was wondering if you can play with other players online, like party up etc

Maybe, I didn't play through the tutorial yet, but maybe there is a feature like in Dragon Ball Xenoverse, or is it official used to be open world online?

There is multiplayer, you just have to play a bit further and it unlocks. Mostly it's just grouping together and doing raids/ grinding HNM

No, it's basically a single player mmo.
There is a multiplayer and it looks sick. You should check a youtube video of a 40 man group taking on a boss.

No, after killing the Area boss the Multiplayer will available. Then you can search for a grp for grinding quests, MnM bosse etc. There you will meet other players.

Mh a little bit sad, it would be awesome seeing some players in the City's, I think it would more look like SAO, without real players it's not Sword art Online, more like Sword art Npc, and I'm sure u can only play with friends

Uh this is the closest one to being "SAO-like". Unless you're referring to the game being an actual death game and having to climb 100 floors. In this one you have to climb 1000.
