Figment Glitch: Bobs Bottles: Cake Summit

I have 4 Figments stuck in the way way background completely unreachable by any playable standards. This is stopping me from 100% the entire game. I assume they are from the first play-through. Coming back through the Brain Tumbler, the Top of cake Summit is no longer available. one of these figments is clearly a Violin. I cant tell what the rest are, though...
Help?

BTW, I was one of your first Psyconauts from PS2. I have enjoyed every minute of every hour that I have sunk into Rhombus of Ruin and Psyconauts 2. Thanks to all for putting together a masterpiece.

First thing: Figments are often missed in the initial bottle grind when you're entering the Helmut bottle, and they show up in otherwise unreachable places according to the Otto-shot (yay for video game level positioning and portals). Have you tried starting at Bob's Island, sailing to the Helmut bottle, and jumping in to confirm that you got all figments in the bottle grind?

Next thing: No figments are completely missable, and the top of the cake summit should be reachable using the fast travel booger guy. If you have all of the figments in the bottle grind, I have a Figment Lookup guide on Steam that should help you figure out where you need to go. Just find where each figment is in the log in your game and look them up in the guide.

Some figments are 100% missable, to correct the above comment. There are parts of the game that you can't replay. I'm in the same boat as you, Bob's Bottles, but in Bog of the Betrothed area. I slid down the bottle to get there and missed a figment, the purple musical notes. The notes did respawn in a different area on my return but they respawned under the flippin water! I can't get to it. So now, I have to completely replay the whole game if I want 100% and Platinum (I'm on PS5).

... have you tried to start on the island and slide down that bottle again? Figments don't respawn, ever.

I just tried, and my dumbass had been using the little snot guy to transition, then I had tried what I THOUGHT was the bottle. Just tried a different bottle and got it. Wow, I am an idiot. thanks!

The only figments that change their location are those that are in areas that become 100% inaccessible, like the ones in Pillinko. In those cases, they move to somewhere that is accessible.

No figments are missable. But the Otto-shot will tell you some odd things in Bob's Bottles sometimes due to where the levels are actually loaded.

Starting from the beginning without using fast travel and sliding back down the bottle did the trick!!! I wish I could say I feel stupid on this one but using the Otto-Shot after Fast travel is what messed with me.
